The "Best" Holiday EVER

After the Easter Holiday, I will be encountering my worst nightmare yet, the mocks. I am still not prepared and I am having difficulties to concentrate on my studies and have a good time arrangement. It's a hugh problem which's been affecting my studies and grades for over the pass few years and I have no idea how to start getting rid of this habit...

My End Of Year Reflection

I have some great times, and bad times within my Yr 9 experience. This year is tough, tougher than I thought. I remember, at the start of the school year, I take things easy, I don't like to rush things through. And my method of learning is starting to crumble in the third term. But I do indeed show some successes this year, I was chosen to be the Woman in Black in this year's school production, it's my first time being the leading lady and I am proud of this success. But off cause, there must be some failures, one of my failure this year is my grades, my grades are going down. It's not just because of the increasing amounts of Homework, but I aso have to arrange time equally for studies. It's tough, but the success of getting good scores always make me proud of myself for once in my life.

How to take apart a PC?

The most basic things is the case, it hold all the wires and things inside, it have a channel for air, but it could get dirty easily because of all the holes which was used to let the heat out. The power supply is very important to a computer or laptop, it supply the power you need to activate the computer.The CPU (Central Processing Unit) is the computer! It is the most important part of it! It handles all the data and information and does all instructions in your computer, without it, the computer will not going to be able to assess itself properly. The   Mother board is also very important as well, it connects to all the wires and CPU. The ramp helps us to asses the internet quicker, it also helps to handle information as well. And at last, the hard disk drive, it gives the storage for software and data.

All the computer hardware is pretty much the same with the slightest difference. We have to learn how the gadgets in the hardware works to be able to take it apart.

300 words of media study

In today’s lesson, I have learn about the difference of female and male in the media word and also how to represent something to make different types of people to follow their way without the media and with just by photos and text.

All media text are are re-presenting of reality. This means that are intentionally composed, lit, written, framed, cropped, captioned, branded, targeted and censored by their producers. ( This sentence is from the notes I have taken from class. ) This sentence means that nearly all of the media text is what is happening in the world around us, without it never even understand or know what was going on all around the world. But media text is not easy to make, they need to be composed, lit, written, framed, cropped, captioned, branded, targeted and censored by their producers.

When we are looking at a wildlife video or reading a news article, behind the scene, the producer of the media text only selected a certain area of information for us to know. What they had selected is what we received when we read or watch the media text.

For the gender part, it was a very interesting subject which everyone make funs out of it. But I have learned that gender difference could make a huge difference of media text. For example, when a thin man walk across a book stall and saw a magazine cover with a six pack man on the cover with his handsome face and shiny white teeth, he will obviously want to be like him. This image will drive the man to buy the magazine and that is what the producer of the media wants. Different kinds of magazine have different kinds of effect on different people and that id the main point of having media text. Media text could change people’s minds and thoughts.

Ballet Shoes

Hey! I am reading a book called the ballet shoes. It was a very good book, but not as good as Zodiac Girls though. The story is about a rich man called Gum, he loves to travel around the world and collect fossil and send it to the museum. He adopted 3 baby girls in different place. In the Hospital, in a boat, and in a shadowy street. They are Posy, Pertrova and Pauline. Pauline is a born actor, Posy is a great dancer, how about Pertrova? She is more intrest in cars and jets and want to be a pirat when she grows up. Different people got different dreams, we need to follow our dreams and walk our own way! Thats the way of life!
